Hero Stories (New Series!)
Drawing on the same storytelling approach as their previous two bestselling book series; Janet and Geoff Benge introduce us to a new cast of men and women with heroic inspiring stories that readers need to meet.
John Paton
The first book in this new series tells the story of John Paton, a young man from Scotland. He went to live and serve among the cannibal inhabitants of the islands of the New Hebrides in the South Pacific. In a place where one wrong move could end up with your body being served up for a feast, John Paton labored to bring change to the islands. In the process, he became an advocate for the rights and wellbeing of the local islanders, even meeting with the United States president to draw his attention to their need for justice.

J.R.R. Tolkien
And then there’s J.R.R. Tolkien. He was born in southern Africa, but after the death of his father at age four he was raised by his mother in England. She died when he was eleven years old and Father Francis, an Oratory Priest took over guardianship of the two Tolkien brothers. A brilliant linguist, J.R.R. Tolkien eventually found a way to study at Oxford University. Following his service in France during World War I, during which many of his friends were killed, he became at professor at Oxford. He also took up writing and met regularly with a group of fellow professors, among them C.S. Lewis. The many volumes of stories Tolkien wrote during this time abound today, entertaining readers as they are sweep off into the story world of Middle Earth.
These are just the first two books from a new list of stories Janet and Geoff are excited to tell and are hard at work writing. The first two will be released mid 2026, so sign up for the newsletter below and be notified when they come out.
